Yes. Texas allows statewide telemedicine and telehealth services. Wholesome Clinic follows all Texas Medical Board requirements for virtual visits, prescribing, and documentation. Patients anywhere in Texas can receive psychiatric care, primary care, and weight management virtually.

Yes. Our Texas-licensed providers may prescribe medications during a virtual visit when clinically appropriate and permitted by applicable state and federal regulations. We provide evidence-based medication management for a wide range of psychiatric conditions. At this time, stimulant medication management is not offered through our practice. Benzodiazepines (such as Xanax® and Klonopin®) and controlled sleep medications (such as Ambien®) are not routinely prescribed. When these medications are determined to be the most appropriate treatment, we will discuss appropriate referral options.

Yes. We currently accept most major insurance plans and offer affordable self-pay rates.

No. Virtual care is available to all Texas residents. Whether you live in Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, El Paso, or a rural Texas community, you can see our providers online from the comfort of your home.

Our psychiatric providers treat depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, bipolar disorder, sleep issues, and more through secure telepsychiatry sessions. Follow-up visits and medication management are all available virtually.

In-person services include Spravato (Esketamine) treatment for depression, IV hydration & vitamin infusions, QbCheck ADHD testing, and genetic testing collection. Virtual care is available statewide, but these procedures require an in-office appointment.
