At Wholesome Clinic, every care plan begins with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. We review your full clinical history, current medications, lifestyle factors, and long-term wellness goals before designing an individualized treatment strategy tailored to your situation.

Our practice provides evidence-based, compassionate care for individuals seeking an anxiety specialist in Frisco, TX, as well as those utilizing our multi-state telehealth options. Every pathway includes specialized medication management when clinically appropriate, psychotherapy alignment, brief supportive counseling, and closely coordinated follow-up care. We invite you to schedule an initial evaluation to map out the most appropriate next steps for your recovery.

Connected Care

We break down silos in healthcare. If therapy is recommended, we coordinate directly with external providers so your care is never fragmented.

Medication management

Individualized, Evidence-Based Anxiety Care

When many people think about anxiety medication, they think of sedatives or tranquilizers. At Wholesome Clinic, we take a different approach.

We manage anxiety using evidence-based medications that are well-established in psychiatric practice and supported by current clinical guidelines. Every treatment plan is individualized and designed to improve symptoms, restore daily functioning, and support long-term wellness.

We provide individualized, evidence-based treatment for anxiety through comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management when clinically appropriate, psychotherapy recommendations, behavioral strategies, and ongoing follow-up care. Benzodiazepines are not routinely prescribed as part of our treatment approach. If another treatment approach is determined to be more appropriate, we will discuss available referral options.

Please note: If you are seeking continuation of long-term benzodiazepine therapy or have questions about whether our treatment approach is the right fit for your needs, please call 972-905-9435 before scheduling.
Therapy and referrals: We offer brief supportive counseling within medication management visits. This is not a substitute for dedicated ongoing therapy. When therapy is recommended, we refer to licensed therapists and counselors who specialize in anxiety.

Questions answered

Frequently Asked Questions About Anxiety Treatment

What is the difference between anxiety treatment and therapy?

Anxiety treatment at Wholesome Clinic focuses on psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Therapy involves regular sessions with a therapist focused on thought patterns, coping skills, and emotional processing. Both can work well together.

Do you prescribe benzodiazepines or controlled substances for anxiety?

We provide individualized, evidence-based treatment for anxiety using comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management when clinically appropriate, psychotherapy recommendations, behavioral strategies, and ongoing follow-up care. Benzodiazepines and other controlled substances are not routinely prescribed. When these medications are determined to be the most appropriate treatment, we will discuss appropriate referral options.

How much does anxiety treatment cost?

The initial evaluation is $159 self-pay. Follow-up visits are $109 self-pay. Insurance billing is available, and your out-of-pocket cost depends on your plan.

Does insurance cover anxiety treatment?

Mental health visits may be covered by most major insurance plans. Coverage varies by plan, deductible, copay, and network status.

Can I get anxiety medication online without coming in person?

Yes. Telehealth appointments are available for patients in Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Oregon, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. If medication is appropriate, prescriptions are sent to your pharmacy.

How soon can I be seen?

Same-week appointments are often available. You can book online or call 972-905-9435 during office hours.

What if I am already seeing a therapist?

That is a great starting point. Many patients benefit from both therapy and medication management. With your permission, we can coordinate care with your therapist.

What if anxiety medication is not the right fit for me?

If medication is not appropriate or not your preference, your provider will discuss other options, including therapy referrals, psychoeducation, or additional support resources.

You Do Not Have to Manage This Alone

Anxiety can make everything feel harder, and deciding to reach out for help is often the most difficult step. We are here to make what comes next clear, supportive, and straightforward.
